Piano
Thirty-minute private lessons on acoustic or digital piano. Students learn one real song per month, scales and reading built around the piece they chose.
From $48/lesson

One photo from a lesson every week we run — the hands, the keys, the page. Shot on the phone, posted same day, no filter.
If you cannot play a song after six weeks the lesson plan is wrong. That is the whole business.

Metronome Music School opened in 2017 in a small studio off May Avenue. We started with three pianos and a handful of students who wanted to play real songs instead of method-book drills. The staff has grown but the rule has not changed: every lesson ends with the student playing something they can recognize.
Most students come from Yukon, Norman, Edmond and Moore. They want to play at church, in a band, or just at home without sheet music falling apart. We keep the groups small so the teacher hears every mistake the first time.

Four rules that decide whether a student keeps playing after the first month.
You pick the song. We build the scales and reading around it so you hear progress every week.
No rotating instructors. The person who started you stays with you until you move on.
If you cannot play one full song after six weeks we change the plan or refund the unused lessons.
You perform when the song is solid. No one is put on stage to fill a slot.
Piano, guitar, drums, voice or strings. Send the instrument, your age or your child's age, and the song you have in mind. We will schedule a first lesson in Yukon, Norman, Edmond or Moore.
Call or text with the instrument and the song you want to learn. If we are not the right fit we will say so and point you to someone who is.
